Masked TVD Digital Art

I'm still in Digital Art mode as I try to finish up a mixed media painting in the studio as well. This art piece is inspired by The Vampire Diaries characters, Katherine and Stefan--and the scene where they attended a masked party. And since they're vampires, I threw a little blood into the mix. 

Red is so dramatic, but so perfect for vampires! In case you're wondering, I use Paint Shop Pro and PhotoScape to create my digital art. It's a great way to let me get a creative fix in when I may not have time for the studio, or just when I feel like being creative with the mess. :)

Vampire Diaries Eclipse

I haven't made any digital art with The Vampire Diaries theme for awhile. I miss that show over the summer when it's on hiatus! Since I was thinking about it today I thought I'd make some TVD-themed digital art to share. I know I have a few followers who love TVD, so I hope you like it.

This is based on the moment that Damon and Bonnie see the eclipse for the first time. I love the moody feel of the red color scheme. A touch of feathers represents Bonnie, and a bit of blood to represent my favorite vampire, Damon. 

I'm anxious to see what next season will bring on TVD, especially since Elena will be gone. I'm not thrilled with that, but I've watched this show from the beginning and I will watch it until its end!

Losing Mom Digital Art

The challenge this week at Collage Obsession is to use A Quote as inspiration for an art work. Since the holidays tend to make me a bit melancholy and miss my mom even more, I decided to let that serve as my muse for this Digital Collage creation.

The quote is from a scene from The Vampire Diaries. That's my favorite show on TV, and as dumb as it may sound, I cry every time I watch that episode where Damon utters these very words to the gravestone of his best friend, Alaric. I'm not so much crying for Damon as I am for my mom. I don't think I'll ever stop missing her. 

It's not my best art work ever, but it's certainly one of my most meaningful.

Winged Elena Digital Art

I made some new Vampire Diaries Digital Art last night, featuring Elena (Nina Dobrev). Just wanted to share. :)

Only a couple more episodes until the season finale. This season has been such a journey--lots of ups and downs. And the season finale is supposed to include a "declaration of love," destruction, tears, and someone taking the cure, according to producer, Julie Plec. Wow. I can't wait!

There's a new challenge up this week at the Collage Obsession blog, and theme this week is Butterflies. I was in the mood for some Vampire Diaries art too, so I decided to create some Digital Art with a TVD theme, but it also includes a butterfly. This digital collage, Delena Kiss, is my creation for the challenge.

Stefan and Elena Love Digital Art

This is my latest Digital Art inspired by The Vampire Diaries. It's an ode to Stefan and Elena. For those of you that watch TVD, you know that "Stelena" is no longer a couple. Damon and Elena are the couple now, and I'm team "Delena" all the way. But I do have a soft spot for some of the moments that Stelena had on the show. But no matter who's a couple these days, I LOVE the show and will watch until the end. And I love doing digital stuff inspired by the show.

Elena by Moonlight

This week's creative challenge the Three Muses blog is Gothic Arch. So I decided to combine my love The Vampire Diaries with the arch theme to create this Digital Collage. If you don't watch that show (I am addicted, what can I say?!), Elena is the female lead (played by Nina Dobrev)...and just recently became a vampire. Anyhoots, this is my creation, inspired by Elena and the arch challenge.

With the Twilight saga finally at an end (sigh), I'm glad I have The Vampire Diaries to help me continue with my vampire addiction...and to inspire some creativity every now and again.

The Vampire Diaries Digital Collage

Well, I don't know if any of my followers are as much of a fan of The Vampire Diaries as I am, but since I am such a huge fan, I thought I'd share a Digital Collage I created last night in honor of the Season 4 premier that will air tomorrow evening. I can't wait!

I just love The Vampire Diaries. I love Stefan and Elena...and Damon and Elena...and the entire Mystic Falls gang. Every last witch, werewolf, vampire and hybrid! And I'm totally psyched for tomorrow's Season 4 premier. So I just got inspired to create some digital art as I await the season premier. I hope I have at least a few TVD followers out there who will enjoy seeing this.

Twilight Bitten Art

I made my sister, Chantele a special Christmas gift this year. Being that I'm the one that got her hooked on Twilight (the books, and the  movies!) I decided all her gifts would be vampire related this year. I got her a Twilight shirt, along with the entire first season of The Vampire Diaries on DVD. That show is my latest vampire addiction so I figured I'd send it to her and see how she liked it. But I also made her this special Twilight-themed framed art I've called, Bitten.

This is made primarily from scrapbook papers that have a Twilight theme. I also added some ribbon and gems, and a Bella and Edward photo from the first movie in the saga. She loved the gift and I was so happy to make something special for her. Now maybe next year I'll need to make something related to The Vampire Diaries. :)
